Here’s something we’ve noticed about our Fuego Diablo customers: Many of them try our steaks without necessarily intending to become lifelong Diablo devotees. Often, it all starts with a simple occasion.
We notice, for instance, that traffic to our website always skyrockets in the weeks leading up to a holiday or a big event—Canada Day, Christmas, the Super Bowl, Valentine’s Day, and so on.
We have also heard, just anecdotally, that many of our customers first try Diablos because they have an anniversary coming up, or a special dinner party, or because they have a big promotion or a new job to celebrate.
The point is, people like to mark special occasions, whether cultural or personal. They like to do something to commemorate these big days. Often, that something special involves a nice meal—and what could be more rarified, more extravagant, more indulgent than a Diablo?
But while it often starts with an occasion, it never ends there. Once you taste a Diablo, you’ll have a hard time going back to the subpar beef found at your local supermarket. You won’t want to settle. As we’ve said before, Diablo will ruin you for other steaks.
And—something else we’ve said before—Diablo provides you with plenty of ways to step up. Maybe you start with an occasion, and with a Gold Label steak; a nice Porterhouse for your anniversary, or a couple of tenderloins to grill up for the Super Bowl. From there, you may get the hankering to step up to a Taster’s Pack, to something from the Black Label, or even for a few steaks to keep in the freezer—not for any particular occasion, but just in case.
Seek out an occasion, then. It can be anything you want, anything that’s meaningful to you. Use it as a chance to treat yourself, and to try something new. Who knows where it might take you?
